Protecting Natural Resources

Protecting natural resources is crucial for ensuring the sustainability and well-being of not only of our community but our planet and all its inhabitants. Natural resources, such as water, air, soil, forests, and biodiversity, are the foundation of sustaining life and providing essential resources like food, clean water, and air, and climate stability. However, these resources are finite and vulnerable to degradation, pollution, and overuse, which can have serious consequences for human health, the ecosystem, and economic development.

Protecting natural resources requires a commitment to sustainable practices, conservation, and responsible management, as well as cooperation and collaboration among all stakeholders, including governments, businesses, communities, and individuals. By protecting natural resources, we can ensure that future generations inherit community and a world that is healthy, resilient, and sustainable, where people can thrive in harmony with nature. That is why I am committed to protecting Auburn’s natural resources.
